• For most of my photo shoots I have used a macro lens, because they have been items that would look best closer up; this photo shoot was not exception.  I felt that for this particular subject matter, that it was especially important to capture the sticky, sugary texture on the candies surfaces.  The macro lens certainly helps to bring out characteristics on items that would otherwise not be seen.
