  • Since I only had one item in this photo shoot, it was easier to make sure the background worked perfectly for what I was trying to achieve.  I was able to be even more creative with my backdrop tools, because it was so small.  I ended up using two pieces of white paper on top of each other so it would not be see through, and I curved the papers and rested them against a mug.  I even rested my cookie on a small candy, so as not to be seen, but also to help my cookie not appear so flat.  There was light directly above my shoot, and then I adjusted my white balance and exposure accordingly.  It really is easy to make a backdrop out of anything.
